Now, they have collaborated with Frank Gehry to create the Tambour Moonphase Flying Tourbillon Sapphire, which combines architectural aesthetics with watchmaking expertise.
Frank Gehry drew inspiration from the ocean, fish, boats, and navigation for the Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon de Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry. He incorporated these elements into the design, giving the watch the appearance of a ship sailing freely in the ocean. The case, made from a single sapphire block weighing 200 kilograms, has a diameter of 43.8 mm and a height of 11.27 mm, showcasing Gehry's commitment to transparency and volume.
Frank Gehry's iconic floating sail motif is engraved on top of the sapphire dial with meticulous attention to detail. The hands and indexes are also made of sapphire crystal, radiating a captivating light. At 6 o'clock, the one-minute flying tourbillon rotates quietly, and the LV monoflower decoration on its carriage adds a unique touch to this watch.
The Tambour Frank Gehry watch features a hand-wound caliber developed by La Fabrique du Temps, LFT MM05.01, which beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
